The MVI56-MCM provides the communication path between a ControlLogix processor and Modbus-compatible equipment, with module data exchanged through the ControlLogix backplane and the serial network.

Installation & Configuration
The module installs as a Generic 1756 module. ProSoft provides a commented sample ladder program with data types, ladder rungs and controller tags to support configuration.
Application-port wiring is selected through the module jumper settings, while the configuration/debug connection uses RS-232.
