Serves as the high-integrity link between the monitor module and its corresponding I/O (Input/Output) termination at the rear of the rack. By maintaining a constant 50-ohm or 75-ohm (configuration dependent) characteristic impedance, the cable eliminates "ghost signals" or noise floor elevation in critical Machinery Protection Systems (MPS).
