The IC694MDL240 is a standard 120V AC input module for the GE PACSystems RX3i, identifiable by the high-voltage red band on its faceplate. It provides 16 discrete points sharing a single common terminal, drawing 90mA directly from the backplane. Built with reactive (resistor/capacitor) circuitry, the module converts incoming field signals into logic 1s within the %I status table. It fits into any universal I/O slot, making it a flexible choice for expanding system capacity as long as the controller's memory and power limits allow.
Performance Specifications
The module is rated for 50/60 Hz operation with a defined On-state window of 74 to 132 VAC. To filter out mechanical contact bounce or line noise, the hardware utilizes integrated signal filtering, resulting in a 30ms "On" response and a 45ms "Off" delay. Safety is maintained through optical isolation, rated at 1500V AC for transients and 250V AC for continuous duty.
