GE IC660BRD025 Discrete Output DC Block
The GE Fanuc IC660BRD025 Genius Modular Redundancy Sinking Output Block is a 32-point discrete DC output module used within the GMR output subsystem for controlling discrete loads in redundant control environments. The module is applied in H-Block redundant output group configurations, where multiple output blocks operate together to maintain output continuity. In this arrangement, the IC660BRD025 functions as a sinking-type output block and is paired with source-type blocks to support redundant load control.
An H-Block output group consists of four output blocks in total, including two sinking output blocks and two source output blocks. For each load, the two IC660BRD025 sinking blocks are wired in parallel on one side, while the source blocks are wired in parallel on the opposite side. Output validation is performed by comparing output data for all 32 points as received from the redundant PLCs. This comparison process is handled at the output group level and differs from the input subsystem, where voting is managed through software configuration.
