Product Description
The CompactLogix power supply provides power through the CompactLogix backplane. The backplane is built into the 1768 and 1769 power supplies, controllers, and I/O modules.
In addition to backplane power, the 1768-PB3 power supplies offer a 24V DC external power supply terminal.
Panel Mounting
Mount one power supply per panel using four screws—one in each corner. Each panel mounting tab must have a screw. Use M4 or #8 panhead screws.
Installation Steps
- Drill pilot holes at the mounting points
- Insert screws through the anchors. Tighten to 1.16 Nm (10 lb-in)
- For multiple modules, connect them and close all DIN rail latches. Latches lock the modules together
