The IC695RMX128 is a Redundancy Memory Exchange module designed for GE Fanuc PACSystems RX3i platforms. This module functions as a dedicated memory exchange unit in hot standby CPU redundancy systems or as a single reflective memory node. In redundant CPU configurations, it maintains data consistency between primary and secondary RX3i CPUs by reflecting memory contents of the IC695CMX128. Communication between nodes occurs through a fiber-optic reflective memory network, where memory updates on one node automatically propagate to all other nodes on the same network. The module supports reflective memory networks with up to 256 nodes and occupies one slot in an RX3i rack.
