The Bently Nevada 3300/20 Dual Thrust Position Monitor provides early warning of thrust bearing failure by measuring and monitoring two independent channels of shaft axial position relative to axial clearances.
Each channel operates independently to track thrust collar movement within the machine, enabling continuous measurement and detection of abnormal movement or wear.
Axial probes are typically installed to observe the thrust collar directly, ensuring the measured position accurately reflects the collar's location relative to the thrust bearing clearance.
