Product Description
This CPU module processes downloaded user programs for execution and actuation of connected electrical loads. The IC698CPE020 features a Pentium III, 700 MHz microprocessor with integrated 10 MB user memory and 10 MB non-volatile flash memory. It includes I/O memory capable of handling up to 32K bits for discrete %I and %Q, and up to 32K words each for analog %AI and %AQ. This processor supports up to 512 program blocks with a maximum individual block size of 128 KB.
The CPU features two built-in Ethernet ports supporting 10/100 Mbps transmission rates, compatible with Ethernet Global Data (EGD), TCP/IP communication services using SRTP, Modbus/TCP Server, and Modbus/TCP Client. These Ethernet ports serve as the primary programming and configuration ports, functioning as embedded switch ports that require only a single Ethernet IP address. With CPU release 5.0 or later, these ports support Time Synchronization.
Additionally, this module includes three isolated serial ports supporting RS232 and RS485 standards. Two serial ports support data communication compatible with Modbus RTU Slave, SNP, and Serial I/O, while the remaining port functions as the Ethernet Station Manager port. The IC698CPE020 features upgradable firmware with integrated data monitoring capability and supports up to 16 combined Web server and FTP connections.
