Installation of the Bus Transmitter Module (BTM) should always follow the applicable PLC Installation Manual. Before starting, ensure that rack power is turned off.
- Install the module in the rack (see diagram below)
- Turn on power. The module will power up and the top LED will blink for approximately 5 seconds
- Once diagnostics complete successfully, the top LED stays ON. The middle LED lights up when a valid configuration has been received from the CPU and IC66 I/O bus operation has been verified. The bottom LED remains OFF under all conditions
