The Allen-Bradley 1746-ITB16 is a SLC 500 fast-response discrete input module designed for high-speed industrial applications. Installed in an SLC 500 chassis, this module is compatible with all SLC 500 processors and provides sixteen (16) input channels capable of handling rapid switching frequencies.
The 1746-ITB16 receives and stores input data in digital format within the module's data image table, accessible by any modular or fixed SLC 500 processor using Ladder Logic programming. It supports connections from up to eight separate sensors or actuators for diverse applications. Removable terminal blocks facilitate easy replacement without disconnecting wiring. Advanced filter circuitry and optical coupling ensure noise reduction, while LED indicators provide clear input status display for simplified troubleshooting.
Designed for reliable operation in demanding industrial environments, the module functions within temperature ranges of 32 to 140 °F and non-condensing relative humidity of 5-95%.
