Allen Bradley 1794-IB8 Digital Input Module with 8 Current Sinking Inputs 10-31.2V DC On-state Voltage

The 1794-IB8 is a Flex 1794 Digital DC Input module installed within the terminal bus to connect field devices to the I/O bus. The module can be inserted or removed under power because it has no direct field wiring, reducing downtime caused by system restarts. It is commonly used for its reliability, flexibility, cost-effectiveness, and modular design.

This module provides 8 current-sinking inputs with a 10-31.2V DC On-state voltage range, 2.0-12.0 mA On-state current, and a maximum Off-state voltage of 5V DC. Maximum power dissipation is 3.5 W at 31.2V DC. Compatible terminal bases include the 1794-TB3 and 1794-TB3S, and installation is performed on a DIN rail. Communication options supported in the Flex I/O platform include ControlNet, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, and Universal Remote I/O.

The module provides 16 yellow status LEDs for channel indication and includes D and XT variants for diagnostics and extreme environments. Operating conditions are 0-55°C (32-131°F) with 5-95% noncondensing humidity.
