- The Allen-Bradley 2198-D020-ERS3 is a dual-axis Kinetix 5700 servo drive with integrated Safe Torque-Off (STO) functionality, SIL CL3 and PLe safety ratings, supporting Hiperface and DSL encoder feedback.
- Features dual Ethernet ports for EtherNet/IP and Device Level Ring (DLR) topologies, single-wire, tuning-less commissioning, and a compact 55mm module width (9.92 × 2.17 × 14.09 in, 9.17 lbs).
- Delivers continuous/peak output currents of 8 A/20 A RMS and 11.3 A/28.2 A 0-peak, with 5.5 kW continuous power at 324-528 V RMS, 3-phase.
- PWM frequency is 4 kHz, internal capacitance 330 µF. Supports advanced Load Observer real-time tuning and velocity/current loop bandwidths of 400 Hz/1000 Hz-4 kHz.
- Input voltages are 458-747 V DC (main) and 24 V DC (control), with 5.5 A input current; output is 0-460 V AC, 3-phase, 0-590 Hz, with a maximum short-circuit rating of 200 kA.
- Full parameter integration enables monitoring and control via automation controllers, HMI, or SCADA through the dual Ethernet interface, making it ideal for high-axis, high-power industrial applications.
