System configuration and installation considerations
Transducer system components: the 3300 XL 50 mm system consists of a separate 50 mm probe, an extension cable and a 3300 XL 50 mm Proximitor Sensor. The probe alone is not the complete measurement system.
Measurement range: the 3300 XL 50 mm system has a maximum linear range of 27.9 mm (1,100 mils). The applicable performance depends on the complete transducer arrangement.
Length matching: the 5.0 m probe option is designed for use with a 5.0 m Proximitor Sensor. When an extension cable is used, its length and the probe length must match the total length required by the Proximitor Sensor.
