The Ethernet-equipped CPU provides the network connection used for controller programming and Ethernet-based communication in the AC500-eCo environment.
The integrated serial interface provides an RS-485 communication path for programming, Modbus master/slave, serial ASCII communication and CS31 master operation.

The PM566-TP-ETH combines digital and analog onboard I/O in the same processor module, allowing the controller to handle mixed signal requirements without relying entirely on additional I/O modules.
The analog inputs on PM564 and PM566 processor modules can also be configured as digital inputs.

Yes. The processor module includes onboard analog input and output capability, and the analog inputs can also be configured as digital inputs.
The controller provides integrated Ethernet and COM1 RS-485 communication. An additional COM2 RS-485 interface can be added through the applicable accessory configuration.
