Emerson PR9350/02 Linear Displacement Transducer with 270 mV/V Supply Voltage 5 Vrms Excitation

The Emerson PR9350/02 Linear Displacement Transducer is an inductive sensor with a half-bridge coil and moving core, designed to measure linear displacement with high accuracy. It comes in a compact form factor of 17 * 8 * 23.5 cm and weighs 0.4 kg, suitable for industrial installation in control and automation systems.

It operates with a supply voltage of 270 mV/V and an excitation voltage of 5 Vrms at a carrier frequency of 3 to 5 kHz. The measuring range spans from -25 mm to +25 mm, with a linearity deviation of ±3.5% over the full range and ±0.5% over 60% of the range. Current draw ranges from 27 to 50 mA, providing stable signals for integration with process control systems.

The transducer works reliably in temperatures from -20°C to +100°C and can be stored or transported between -40°C and +70°C. Depending on the type, it supports measuring ranges up to 300 mm. Its passive half-bridge design ensures precise and repeatable displacement measurement, making it suitable for industrial automation, monitoring, and control applications.
