Out in the field, sensors are constantly picking up signals—vibration, speed, that kind of stuff. But those raw signals aren’t really ready to be used straight away. This module sits in between, tidies things up, and passes the data along to the system so it can actually make sense of it. Kind of like a translator, just for machine signals.

You’ll usually find it installed in a Bently Nevada 3500 Series Monitoring System rack. Not the most flashy part, honestly, but if it’s missing or not working properly, the whole monitoring chain starts to feel it.
