Product Description
The GSI 122/130 Galvanic Separation Unit is designed for supplying transducers and conditioners while reading the signals they provide. Engineered for 2-wire transmission systems, it can power any electronic system with consumption under 20 mA.
The unit outputs a voltage signal proportional to the current consumed by the conditioner, providing direct access for precise signal analysis and monitoring.
The GSI 122/130 module eliminates issues caused by voltage differences between measurement points and signal processing, such as earth loops. The GSI 122 Version 20x meets CENELEC and CSA standards for powering transducers and conditioners in explosive environments.
Implementing the GSI 122/130 in installations removes the need for Zener barriers, which can cause additional voltage drops, limit transmission line length, and reduce system dynamic range.
