Installation & Connection
Front-mounted in VM600 system rack (6U). Connects to VME bus via high-current connectors. Supplies +5 VDC & ±12 VDC to all rack cards.
Power Configuration
- Single RPS6U: Non-redundant, full rack support
- Dual RPS6U: Redundant mode provides 100% backup if one unit fails
- Non-redundant mode: Used for derated output in specific environments
Compatibility & Flexibility
Supports VM600 series cards (MPC4 / IOC4T, XMx16 / XIO16T). Available in various versions for AC or DC mains supply.
Monitoring & Safety
- Power supply check relay for operational status monitoring
- Front or rear indicators show normal operation
- Optional ASPS (+24 VDC) for external hardware including transducers, signal conditioners, and galvanic separation units
