The Bently Nevada™ 3500/40M Proximitor Monitor is a four-channel device designed to accept input from Bently Nevada proximity transducers. It conditions signals to provide accurate vibration and position measurements and compares them against user-programmable alarms for reliable machinery protection.
Programmable Channel Functions
Each channel can be configured using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to perform any of the following functions:
- Radial vibration
- Thrust position
- Eccentricity
- REBAM
- Differential expansion
Primary Purposes
- Machinery Protection: Continuously compares monitored parameters against configured alarm setpoints to drive alarms.
- Operational Insight: Provides essential machine information for both operations and maintenance personnel.
Additional Features
- Each channel generates static values based on its input signal.
- Alert setpoints can be configured for each active static value.
- Danger setpoints can be set for any two active static values, ensuring precise and reliable monitoring.
