Air movement The paired fans move cooling air through the cabinet to support stable equipment temperature.
02 RPM
Speed supervision Each fan has a green running indicator. The common contact reports healthy operation only when both fan speeds remain above the switching threshold.
03 OK
Maintenance signal The readback circuit gives the cabinet system a practical way to detect loss of cooling redundancy.
Honeywell recommends fan replacement after 8 years of operation. Dirty filters, restricted openings and loose cabinet seals should be corrected during the same service.
Operating Details
Assembly type
Two fans, monitoring PCB and mounting plate
Nominal supply
24 VDC
Operating range
12 to 29 VDC; polarity must be checked before energizing
Power
9.5 W for the complete assembly
Air delivery
360 m³/h (approximately 212 CFM) for the complete assembly
Nominal speed
3200 rpm
Readback threshold
1500 ±100 rpm per fan; contact closes only with both fans above threshold
Acoustic level
52 dB
Connection
Four-pole connector for 24 VDC supply and readback wiring
Cabinet Integration
Treat airflow, electrical connection and alarm verification as one maintenance task.
A 24 VDC input
B Dual fan plate
C Dry readback
D Cabinet alarm
Before fitting Match the complete FC-FANWR-24R marking, mounting arrangement and four-pole connector. Inspect the wiring and confirm supply polarity.
After fitting Confirm both green indicators, verify airflow direction, then prove the cabinet alarm by checking the common readback state.
AMIKON SUPPLY SERVICE
Critical Spares, Prepared for Dispatch
AMIKON supports industrial automation users with responsive handling of new and discontinued parts. Each order is coordinated to reduce procurement delay and help maintenance teams restore stable operation.
12-Month Warranty Contact us within 7 days if an issue is found after delivery. Eligible items must remain in their original condition and include a clear return reason. Return or replacement is arranged after receipt and inspection; shipping charges are borne by the buyer.
Why can FC-FANWR-24R fans rotate while the cabinet still reports a cooling fault?
Rotation alone is insufficient. Both fans must exceed 1500 ±100 rpm before the common contact closes. Check both green indicators, the four-pole connector and the receiving input circuit.
Which checks prevent damage when energizing FC-FANWR-24R?
Confirm connector pinout and polarity before applying power. The assembly operates across 12–29 VDC but does not provide reverse-polarity protection.
Why might cabinet temperature rise even when FC-FANWR-24R readback is healthy?
The contact confirms fan speed, not unrestricted cabinet flow. Inspect filters, exhaust openings, cable congestion, airflow direction, door seals and unused penetrations.
Should a failed fan be changed alone or should the FC-FANWR-24R assembly be changed?
For predictable airflow and readback behavior, procure the complete marked assembly with both fans, monitoring PCB and mounting plate. This also avoids mismatched speed characteristics.
When should FC-FANWR-24R be renewed before a visible failure?
Plan replacement at 8 years of operation. Replace earlier if bearing noise, intermittent readback, contamination, reduced airflow or high-temperature service indicates accelerated wear.
