Brand Name:
ABB
Model Number:
IEPMU01
ABB Bailey Modular Power Hardware
The rear-access chassis and high-current connection point for up to ten power modules in ABB Bailey INFI 90 and Network 90 modular power systems.
IEPMU01 is the rear-mounted power mounting unit used in ABB Bailey INFI 90 and Network 90 modular power systems. It houses the associated power modules, carries their high-current power connections and keeps the power-module section separate from the process-control module section.
It is a chassis and connection assembly, not a standalone AC/DC converter. System input selection, output ratings and redundancy are determined by the installed power entry panel, power modules, bus monitor and cabinet wiring.

The AC system manual associates the PMU with IEPAS02 system-power and IEPAF02 field-power modules plus the appropriate IEPEP01/02/03 power entry panel.
The DC system manual associates the PMU with IEPDS01/02 system-power and IEPDF01/02 field-power modules plus IEPEP04.
IEPMU02 is the front-mounted PMU. ABB identifies the orientation difference but does not document it as a drop-in replacement for every IEPMU01 cabinet arrangement.
Before ordering, verify rear access, cabinet generation, input architecture, installed power-module types, power-entry panel and bus-bar cable set.
Turn off source power and power-entry-panel circuit breakers before installation, retrofit or wiring.
Install from the rear, directly below the fan assembly, and secure both sides to the cabinet rails.
Follow the exact system manual for input harness, ground, MCOM, +5 V and other bus-bar connections.
Verify input voltage, module switch/jumper settings and green status indication as each power module is seated.
High-current bus work is not a plug-and-play task. ABB's manual requires trained electrical personnel and a volt/ohmmeter; conductor size, color code and heat-shrink steps must match the cabinet drawing.
Relevant when corrosion, overheated joints, damaged guides or backplane connections make the original PMU unreliable.
Multiple power modules reporting bad status may indicate a shared PMU, bus-bar or power-entry connection rather than several independent supply failures.
Investigate source input, breaker state, power-module loading, PMU connections and bus-monitor readings before replacing parts.
Fan failure, blocked airflow or open cabinet conditions can increase module temperature and shorten service life.
Discoloration, odor or intermittent resets require a shutdown inspection; do not retighten energized power connections.
A front-mount chassis ordered for a rear-access cabinet can create mechanical and wiring conflicts that delay the outage.
The service terms below are Amikon commercial support and are separate from ABB technical documentation.
Incoming identity and condition checks; functional or power checks are applied where the part and available fixture allow. The agreed scope can be stated on the quotation.
Protective industrial packing appropriate to the item. Report any dead-on-arrival issue promptly with label, package and installation evidence.
Returns require prior RMA approval and condition review. Warranty term and coverage are confirmed on the quotation; after-sales support assists with claim evidence and part verification.
These part numbers are independent purchasing references only. They are not replacements for the product on this page. Compatibility and stock must be confirmed separately for each item.
It is the rear-mounted housing and power-connection assembly for the power modules in an INFI 90 or Network 90 modular power system.
The manufacturer manual states that the power mounting unit can service up to ten modules.
No. The first is installed from the rear and the second from the front. The cabinet access and wiring arrangement must be checked before substitution.
The AC manual covers IEPAS02 and IEPAF02; the DC manual covers IEPDS01/02 and IEPDF01/02. The correct set depends on the installed power architecture.
The AC system instruction places the rear-mounted PMU directly beneath the fan assembly and secured to both cabinet rails.
Provide the part number, quantity, destination, required date, system model, cabinet generation, installed PEP and power-module types, and rear-access confirmation.
For a faster technical and commercial check, send the installed-part details before the requested ship date.
