Brand Name:
ABB
Model Number:
SPIET800 / IET800
ABB Symphony Plus · Ethernet Computer Interface
SPIET800 is the Symphony Plus order identity for the IET800 transfer module. It connects INFI-NET / Cnet data to an Ethernet host environment, stores up to 30,000 point definitions and supports high-throughput exception reporting for engineering, operator and OPC applications.
SPIET800 and IET800 refer to the same transfer hardware in the ABB Symphony Plus ordering context: SPIET800 is the order identity and IET800 is the module designation. The interface links the INFI-NET control system to an Ethernet host connection.
Receives controller information, sorts it and holds it until the host application requests it.
Uses TCP/IP over a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet connection for host communication.
Supports 30,000 point definitions with exception-report throughput above 1,500 reports per second.

The module receives controller data from INFI-NET, sorts and stores it, and supplies requested information to host applications over Ethernet.
For a new interface or a migration project, the surrounding hardware matters as much as the transfer module.
One SPIET800 and one SPNIS21 provide the transfer and INFI-NET interface functions.
The kit includes one NTCL01 and one NKLS01-10 cable.
One IEMMU21 module mounting unit and one NFTP01 field termination panel complete the listed kit.
ABB positions ICI800, built from NIS21 and IET800, as a 100 Mb Ethernet connection to INFI-NET. It supports INFI 90, Harmony and Symphony Plus host-integration projects, including Harmony OPC environments.
ABB's cybersecurity advisory identifies vulnerabilities in firmware A_B and earlier and states that firmware A_D contains corrections. Firmware should be checked as part of any spare or recommissioning activity.
An affected or unavailable module interrupts data transactions for connected operations and engineering workstations. ABB notes that this does not change the control-system configuration or the INFI-NET control network itself.
Operator, engineering or OPC clients lose updated values while the INFI-NET control functions continue.
Port, cable, switch, addressing or module status interrupts the active Channel 0 connection.

Yes. SPIET800 is the Symphony Plus order identity and IET800 is the transfer-module designation used in ABB's interface documentation.
It transfers INFI-NET control-system data to Ethernet host applications using TCP/IP.
The documented interface database capacity is 30,000 point definitions.
Channel 0 is the active 10/100 Mbps RJ45 connection; Channel 1 is reserved.
SPICI800 includes SPIET800, SPNIS21, NKLS01-10, NTCL01, IEMMU21 and NFTP01, one of each.
ABB identifies A_B and earlier as affected by the published vulnerabilities and A_D as the corrected firmware level in the advisory.
These models are separate sourcing references, not substitutes for SPIET800 / IET800. Compatibility and stock must be confirmed independently.
No interchangeability, migration or replacement relationship is implied by this list.
