02 / Remote Link Design
Match both Cnet endpoints and the serial transport
A successful remote interface depends on more than the processor card. Both INNIS01 interfaces, termination wiring and the transport equipment must agree on the installed link design.
Network endpoint
Each site uses its Cnet interface to present system traffic to the transfer link.
Serial transport
NTMP01 terminates the RS-232-C path to the modem, microwave or transceiver equipment.
Remote endpoint
The satellite transfer module restores the traffic path to the remote Cnet.
