This ensures the Trusted controller's hardware-based voting remains deterministic. Timing precision is critical - any signal propagation skew can cause "Module Missing" or "Bus Fault" errors on remote I/O racks. |
| 10m Copper Tbus Distance Limit | The 10-meter constraint addresses EMI immunity and signal propagation delay requirements. In ICS Triplex environments, Tbus scan cycles are extremely tight. Exceeding 10m on copper risks inter-symbol interference and CRC errors. For longer distances, the T3310 must interface with fiber optic converters to overcome electrical noise and attenuation issues. |
| Hot-Swapping Capability | Technically possible with redundant bus topology. However, in single-cable Tbus configurations, removing the T3310 will instantly isolate all downstream I/O modules.
