The IC694MDL940 is a sixteen-point relay output module with single-slot width that occupies one slot of the backplane. This module features four groups of outputs with four relay outputs per group. All relay contacts are Normally Open (Form A) contacts. Sixteen status LED indicators represent individual channels, where an energized LED indicates an energized output.
Each output contact is rated for a maximum load of 2 Amperes pilot duty. Each output group is designed for a maximum current of 4 Amperes. The module has a 10 mA minimum load and a 5 Amp maximum inrush current. Response time for signal transitions is 15 ms maximum. Power consumption is 7 mA at 5VDC bus voltage and 135 mA from the relay 24V bus on the backplane, based on all output channels being energized.
Isolation ratings are 250 VAC continuous and 1500 VAC for 1 minute from field to backplane and frame to ground. Channel-to-channel isolation is also 250 VAC continuous and 1500 VAC for 1 minute. The IC694MDL940 does not include an internally installed fuse for channel protection. Users should install external fuses to protect the module.
