Which systems can use this cable?
It is built specifically for the 3300 XL NSv (Near Surface) Proximity Transducer System. You will usually see this installed on centrifugal air compressors or machinery where space is too tight for a standard probe.
What is the total system length with the 065 cable?
The 065 means a 6.5-meter cable. With a 0.5-meter probe added for correct calibration, the total system length is 7.0 meters.
Does the 02 armor include a jacket?
No. The 02 option gives you stainless steel armor for heavy-duty mechanical protection against cuts and crushing, but it does not have the FEP outer jacket. If you need chemical resistance on top of physical shielding, you would need a different option code.
Is it compatible with older RAM systems?
Yes, it’s a direct replacement. The cable works with the older 3300 RAM series and can be used in existing setups without electrical or mechanical issues.
How do the connectors stay secure?
Unlike standard threaded connectors that can back off under machine vibration, these use a locking mechanism. You will feel and hear them lock when they seat properly, which keeps the signal stable even on high-vibration equipment.
Is this version rated for hazardous areas?
Yes. The 05 suffix means it carries global approvals like ATEX, IECEx, and CSA. It is rated for use in hazardous environments, including Zone 0 and Class I, Div 1 locations.
