Analog Input Characteristics
Each analog input channel supports five selectable input ranges:
- 0 to +10 VDC (unipolar) — default
- -10 to +10 VDC (bipolar)
- 0 to 20 mA
- 4 to 20 mA
- 4 to 20 mA Enhanced
The default input range is 0 to +10 VDC (unipolar). User data is scaled such that 0 V = 0 counts and 10 V = 32767 counts.
Analog Output Characteristics
Each analog output channel supports four selectable output ranges:
- 0 to +10 VDC (unipolar) — default
- -10 to +10 VDC (bipolar)
- 0 to 20 mA
- 4 to 20 mA
Each output channel converts 15 to 16 bits (range-dependent) of digital data into an analog signal. User data in the %AI and %AQ registers is represented in 16-bit two's complement format.
