GE IC694PWR321 Power Supply Module
The GE Fanuc IC694PWR321 is an expansion power supply module developed for the RX3i PacSystem PLC platform. It is fully compatible with all GE RX3i CPUs and can be used in any RX3i system requiring an additional or dedicated power source. The module is designed for serial expansion and installs directly into the RX3i backplane, occupying the leftmost slot of the rack as required by system architecture.
Output Voltage Distribution
This RX3i power supply provides three independent output channels, allowing it to support multiple system functions:
- 5 VDC Output - Supplies logic power to the RX3i backplane and installed modules
- 24 VDC Relay Output - Powers relay circuits on output relay modules
- 24 VDC Isolated Output - Supplies field power for 24 VDC-rated input devices
This output configuration allows separation between logic power and field device power, reducing noise and improving system stability in industrial applications.
LED Status Indicators
The module includes three front-panel LEDs for quick system diagnostics:
- PWR (Green) - ON when the power supply has a valid input source and is operating correctly
- OK (Green) - ON when the PLC system is functioning normally
- RUN (Green) - ON when the PLC is in Run mode
If the PWR LED is off, it indicates either a power supply fault or the absence of input power.
