THERMAL Thermal overload, RTD-biased protection and learned motor starting behavior.
ELECTRICAL Phase, ground and differential current supervision with voltage and power elements.
MECHANICAL Jam, starts-per-hour, load-loss and temperature-related operating risks.
DIAGNOSTIC Event records, waveform capture, metering and learned motor data.
The 469 is a legacy product. GE identifies the 859 or 869 as current migration paths; a retrofit still requires a settings, wiring and protection-function review.

AMIKON SUPPLY SERVICE
Legacy Relay Supply With Order-Code Discipline
AMIKON coordinates industrial automation spares around exact suffixes, condition requirements and delivery urgency. This reduces the risk of receiving a visually similar relay with the wrong CT, power or output option.
12-Month Warranty Report concerns within 7 days after receipt. Eligible returns must remain in original condition and include a clear reason. Return or replacement follows inspection; shipping charges remain with the buyer.
Can a 469-P1 replace this P5 relay if settings are copied?
No direct substitution should be assumed. P1 is for 1 A phase CT secondaries, while P5 is for 5 A; the sensing circuit and settings must agree.
Why must HI power be checked even when the front panel lights?
A powered display does not prove the site supply matches the ordered range. Confirm 90-300 VDC or 70-265 VAC at 48-62 Hz and verify trip-circuit design.
What is commonly missed when replacing an A20 unit?
The four 4-20 mA output assignments and scaling can be overlooked. Record each destination, measured parameter and engineering range before removal.
Why is firmware context important on a spare 469?
Available elements and setting behavior changed across revisions. Record order code, serial number, firmware and boot revision before selecting or loading a spare.
Can an 869 retrofit use the old 469 settings unchanged?
Treat migration as an engineered protection change. Review CTs, wiring, logic, RTDs, communications, outputs and every protection element before commissioning.
