Honeywell FS-PDC-CPSET Power Distribution Cable
Primary Power Link (Short Lead) | FS-PDC-CP24-1
The FS-PDC-CP24-1 serves as the localized feed for CP1 (Controller Processor 1). This short-reach cable is engineered to bridge the 24V-1 connector on the SM Controller backplane directly to the FS-MB-0001 mains bus bar. Its reduced length minimizes impedance for the primary power rail within the control nest.
Secondary Power Link (Long Lead) | FS-PDC-CP24-2
Dedicated to CP2 redundancy, the FS-PDC-CP24-2 provides the secondary 24V DC path. Designed with an extended lead length to accommodate physical cable routing requirements across the backplane chassis, it terminates at the 24V-2 connector. Like the primary lead, it draws current from the common FS-MB-0001 mains bus bar, ensuring synchronized voltage potential across both processor modules.
Integration & Bus Bar Interface
The entire set is optimized for the FS-MB-0001 type mains bus bar. This centralized distribution point facilitates high-current delivery while maintaining the galvanic isolation standards required for Safety Manager hardware. By utilizing distinct connectors (24V-1 and 24V-2) on the backplane, the cable set eliminates single-point-of-failure (SPOF) risks at the power input stage for the redundant controller pair.
