Atmospheric Tolerance (5-95% RH)
The T8310C PCBA is conformal-coated. While rated for 95% RH, this applies to non-condensing environments. If the site is prone to temperature swings near the dew point, enclosure heaters are mandatory to prevent micro-condensation on the expander bus interface.
Cold-Start Recovery (Storage)
Mandatory Acclimation. Do not energize a "cold-standby" T8310C immediately. Allow a 4-hour thermal soak at +20°C. Rapid 24VDC initialization on a sub-zero module can cause ceramic capacitor fractures or surface frost leading to short-circuits.
Form Factor Footprint
No. The T8310C is specifically keyed for the Trusted™ Chassis. The 30.2cm height is proprietary to the Trusted™ backplane architecture. Attempting to force the module into a generic Eurocard rack will damage the high-density expansion port.
