This high-availability design ensures immediate fault isolation and valid process data execution, making it the central computational node for safety-critical loops where millisecond-level decision latency is mandatory.
On the physical layer, the unit integrates a galvanically isolated I/O subsystem rated for 1500V AC, effectively decoupling field instrumentation from logic circuits to prevent ground loop interference.
