The ABB IPMON01 Power Monitor Module delivers reliable AC and DC input monitoring with precision and safety. It accommodates input voltages of 120/240 VAC (±10%) and 125 VDC (±20%), featuring 2300 VAC isolation protection and a stable 24 VDC auxiliary output.
Engineered for demanding industrial environments, the module operates effectively in temperatures from -20°C to +70°C and can be stored safely between -40°C and +85°C. It maintains reliable performance even in humid conditions ranging from 5% to 95% non-condensing.
Manufactured by ABB and shipped from Xiamen, China, the compact module measures approximately 3.4 * 41.8 * 21.8 cm and weighs under 1 kg for easy integration. Alternative models include PIPMON01, IPMON01R, and YIPMON01 for flexible deployment options.

LED Status Indicators
The self-check LED and line one LED are red/green status indicators that display green during normal operation. The self-check LED turns red when the module detects an on-board hardware failure. The line one LED indicates input power status in N, N+1, or N+x redundant systems, turning red when input voltage drops below the specified range. These LEDs remain constantly active, while the line two LED requires activation to display status of a second input line in 2N systems.
Eight additional alarm LEDs monitor selected signals based on dipswitch and jumper configurations.
Configurable LED Monitoring
Four LEDs—PFI, system power, I/O power, and external—can be configured to monitor multiple lines and signals:
  • PFI LED: Monitors system and I/O bus voltages, status input line one, or combinations of lines and buses
  • I/O Power LED: Tracks status input lines one and two (contact inputs) and auxiliary input lines one and two (for 24, 48, and 125 VDC external power)
  • External LED: Displays status of line two input power and 5, 15, and -15 VDC bus voltages
When any associated signal or line fails, the corresponding LED turns red. During normal operation or when disabled, these LEDs remain off.
The remaining five LEDs are controlled by jumpers that configure input power line sensing, operating voltage, high/low trip points for auxiliary 24, 48, or 125 VDC I/O monitoring, temperature sensor trip points, and 25.5 VDC I/O bus voltage. These LEDs operate similarly: off during normal operation or when disabled, red when a failure is detected.
