The module supports an input range of 0-20 mA or 4-20 mA, with an input impedance of 250 Ω and an input voltage range of +33 VDC to -1 VDC. Electronic short-circuit protection is integrated to safeguard the system against wiring faults, while the module maintains stable operation across an extended temperature range of -40 to +70°C.
The CC-PUIO31 features Fast Scan capability, enabling priority I/O module scanning for high-speed performance. Each digital and analog channel can be configured with safe-state (FAILOPT) behaviors, ensuring reliable process safety under abnormal conditions.
For analog I/O, the module provides HART 7 support with a dedicated HART modem per channel, delivering fast and accurate communication for device configuration, diagnostics, and performance monitoring.
Engineered for industrial robustness, the module achieves normal mode rejection ratios of 18 dB at 50 Hz and 20 dB at 60 Hz, ensuring signal integrity in electrically noisy environments.
