The Honeywell 900RSM-0101 is a Redundant Switch Module created for the ControlEdge HC900 redundant controller rack. It connects to both CPUs in a redundant configuration, showing which CPU is currently the Lead controller and which is the Reserve. A key switch on the module controls the mode of both the Lead and Reserve CPUs, ensuring they remain in sync. By moving the key switch to the momentary contact position, the user can transfer the Lead control role from CPU-A to CPU-B, or the other way around. The module is designed to be inserted or removed while the system is powered.
