Unlike standard 8mm probes, the NSv series—specifically the 330908-00-19-10-02-05—is engineered to monitor small-diameter shafts (under 3 inches) or targets where side-clearance is minimal. Its unique tip-to-target physics enables accurate vibration and axial position readings without the "side-view" interference that typically causes signal distortion in 8mm or 5mm probes.
Hazardous Area Compliance (Option -05)
For offshore platforms and refineries, the Option -05 approval is essential. This probe meets the latest European (ATEX) and International (IECEx) standards for explosive atmospheres. When paired with a 3300 NSv Proximitor and a Zener barrier, it forms a complete, galvanically isolated machinery protection loop.
