Technical Specifications & Compatibility
PCI Voltage Support: Universal PCI keying allows seating in both legacy 5V and modern 3.3V 32-bit slots. Hardware automatically senses logic voltage without requiring jumper configuration for bus synchronization.
BNC Line Termination: 75Ω resistors are mandatory at both physical ends of the Twinax network. Omission can cause signal reflections, leading to DH+ packet corruption or link timeouts.
Power Consumption & Cooling: With only 1.8W power draw, thermal footprint is negligible. Passive host PC airflow is sufficient to maintain operating temperature range of 0°C to +60°C without additional heat sinking.
Electrical Isolation: 1500V AC galvanic barrier isolates host PC bus from industrial network transients. Prevents circulating ground currents induced by motors and VFDs from damaging motherboard circuitry.
PCIe Compatibility: Not compatible with PCIe x1 or x16 slots. Designed exclusively for legacy 32-bit PCI architecture with different connector pitch and signaling architecture.
