The ATA4D-00 S2 provides dual-redundant termination for Yokogawa CENTUM VP and ProSafe-RS I/O subsystems. S2-suffix hardware facilitates a dual-path signal strategy via twin KS cable sockets, linking field-side wiring to redundant-pair modules. This configuration eliminates single-point failure risks at the marshalling layer—essential for SIS (Safety Instrumented Systems) and high-availability process loops. Passive circuit architecture ensures zero-latency data transparency across the field-to-backplane interface without signal conditioning overhead.
Field connectivity utilizes high-tension pressure clamp (spring-terminal) mechanics to prevent vibration-induced loosening inherent in legacy screw-type blocks.
