Industrial safety systems require reliable controller support and a clear path for equipment maintenance. Honeywell’s FC-SCNT02 (51460114-176) is an SIL 3 safety controller for the Safety Manager SC platform, featuring increased memory capacity and support for DNP3 outstation functionality.

The controller is compatible with the earlier FC-SCNT01, with Honeywell documenting pin-to-pin compatibility, online replacement and operation in a redundant configuration alongside the previous model. These capabilities provide flexibility when maintaining existing Safety Manager SC installations.

For software compatibility, the FC-SCNT02 is supported by Safety Manager SC R200.2 and later releases. Its DNP3 outstation capability is associated with Safety Manager SC R212 and requires the applicable Safety Builder license. In this configuration, an Experion Server or ControlEdge RTU can act as the DNP3 master.
