The IC220MDL643 is engineered for high-density 24VDC signal acquisition in space-constrained DIN-rail applications. This 16-point discrete input module features a sinking (positive logic) configuration, making it ideal for interfacing with dry contacts, limit switches, and standard three-wire proximity sensors.
Built for the VersaPoint local bus architecture, the module performs A/D conversion and logic level shifting directly at the terminal, reducing primary network interface overhead. This design delivers faster I/O scan times and improved performance in distributed control clusters.
