Key Features

- Front mount rack mounts in a standard 19" (480mm) rack (fans normally not required)

- Provision for two rack operation from single power supply
Product Overview
The Standard Nine-Slot Racks and the Five-Slot Rack for the IC697 programmable controller are used for all CPU and I/O configurations. Each rack provides a dedicated position for one power supply at the leftmost slot and either nine additional slots (Nine-Slot Rack) or five additional slots (Five-Slot Rack) for CPU and I/O modules.

Nine-Slot Rack: 11.15 H × 19 W × 7.5 D in (283 × 483 × 190 mm)
Five-Slot Rack: 11.15 H × 13 W × 7.5 D in (283 × 320 × 190 mm)
Slot Widths: Standard slots are 1.6 in wide; the power supply slot is 2.4 in wide
The IC697CHS790 supports interconnection of two racks, allowing them to share a single power supply for applications with extended I/O requirements. A Power Supply Extension Cable kit (IC697CBL700) is available for this purpose.
Each rack provides slot sensing for rack-type I/O modules designed for the IC697 PLC. No jumpers or DIP switches are required on the I/O modules for module addressing, simplifying configuration and installation.
